1 Quart Mylar Bag (Open End) - 5.0 Mil (6" x 10")

Mylar bags are a great alternative for efficient and effective long term food storage. Made from polyester resin, Mylar bags provided resistance to gas and moisture, provides chemical stability, and possesses high tensile strength. Simply fill the Mylar bag with any dry food, place one or two oxygen absorbers, and seal the bag with a Hot Jaws Handheld Heat Sealer or iron. Mylar bags ensure optimal food freshness and storage longevity. An essential part of any food storage system, Mylar bags create an oxygen barrier that provided long term food protection and storage.

How To Use:

Open up the Mylar bag.

Place desired dry food source into the Mylar bag.

Leave approximately 2 inches (approximately 5 cm) of place at the top of the bag for sealing.

Place oxygen absorbers into the mylar bag (Optional) (Refer to info sheet under specifications)

Using a Hot Jaws Handheld Heat Sealer, clamp on the opening of the bag and wait 5 seconds for the bag to seal.

If you do not have a heat sealer, an iron will also work. Simply place the opening of the bag on a flat surface and apply a hot iron to seal the opening. Wait 5 seconds.

1 qt 5ml 6x10 mylar bags
We got these smaller bags for smaller items.
So far they have only been used for ice cream sandwiches.
Worked as advertised.
I primarily bought them for even smaller stuff... like freeze dried eggs.
We will cut the bags down even further so when camping we use the pre-portioned amount without exposing any of the rest to the air.

1 quart Mylar bags
Quite a few bags have tiny pinholes in them. Bags did not shrink down like the others did so am concerned they may have air still in them after adding a oxygen absorber and sealing them. Can not use them.

Mylar bags and oxygen absorbers
Very good. I am a repeat customer who has always received exactly what I ordered and the delivery was prompt and courteous. I think you should lower the amount on the free shipment for repeat customers 😁 just food for thought.
