Great product overall
Warm, large, made as well as would expect for rugged emergency material, nice colour…
A bit itchy, a bit thin and a bit of shedding (which was easily removed just by air fluffing in dryer…) but at such a great price, luxury finishing simply cannot be expected, of course…

Finally an affordable large blanket!
I am a big guy, 6'2", 230 lbs. Finding a blanket large enough to wrap myself in is difficult, I usually wind up felting multiple blanket pieces together to make a king-size blanket.
The preserving chemical is very strong which required repeated washings to remove, but every wool item needs repeated washings to get them to loft anyway, so no big deal. The blanket easily covers me for a night, this isn't first aid use for me, I need blankets for bush-crafting. I will need to get another or even two.

Very warm.
The high wool content feels rough at first but once you're used to it you'll realize the warmth it holds is almost magical for how light it is. Hope to get more as winter approaches!

First wash was fun...
Got my blanket but wanted to wash it before I stashed it away. (tag states cold water wash and low heat tumble dry)
Washed in cold water and set on delicate. When it was done it looked like a cat died in the washing machine. I shook it out before putting it the dryer as I always do with everything I wash and it looked like several cats died on the floor. In the dryer, I set it to low heat and delicate. I had to empty the lint filter every 5 minutes. I now have it hanging up to air out the smell.
If you can get past all the work when you first get it...it's actually a pretty good blanket.
