First use after two years sitting unused in my emergency kit behind the back seat.
I have four of these safety triangles and 3 LED road flairs that I purchased over two years ago. I got to put them to good use in April on near the crest of a hill on a two lane highway with narrow gravel shoulders. I was pulling a 36' Fifth Wheel with my F-350 dually and lost the air out of the truck's inner rear tire on the passenger side. Because we were still half into our lane, we pulled out the warning triangles and spaced them out starting well behind the RV to give fair warning to approaching vehicles. It took over an hour for us to get back on the road, but it was reassuring to see vehicles, trucks, and semi-trailers slowing down for our safety. The triangles are heavily weighted by the cantilevered base, so they remained in place and stable in spite of the strong winds that were created by passing vehicles. I was so glad that I had made the space and carried these around in my truck for just this purpose. Highly reflective, easy to set up, stable. and effective in multiple configurations.
