Too big to be packed as an emergency shelter, would be better to pack an actual small tent that takes just a little more space

Better than most
This is a 1 person or possibly 2 small person tent. Its 3 ft wide (pegged down) & 2.5 ft high. Having a solid wall in the back & velcro on the door flaps really blocks bad weather but not bugs. Heads & tails above the garbage bag type tube tents. Have 1 in my BOB.
