The built-in MP3 player includes Bluetooth compatibility along with standard auxiliary connection along, AM/FM radio stations, and NOAA Radio stations. Its versatile design makes it easy to take it with you for outdoor sports and emergency situations. It comes with 4-way charging capabilities like its predecessors and includes all the comforts that you’d expect from Kaito.

Emegency Receiver
I've been storing one of these kinds of radios since the 1980's and replacing them every ten years. This one is the most versatile so far, all of the functions work well, and the reception is fine. I passed on the stereo and shortwave models because they weigh more, I suspected they would have more current draw, and I heard a rumour that they have worse reception on FM and Weather bands due to different internal electronics.

Excellent radio.
As a senior in my eighth decade, albeit a senior with career-long experience of working with computers and other electronic gadgets, I found that the use of this radio required a steep learning curve. However, a month after receiving it, I have now mastered the main functions I need for regular use and might need for emergency use, including the MP3 player. There are other functions which I am less likely to need and I have other gadgets which are easier to use. Having said that, I find the sound quality excellent for a speaker of this size. Extrapolating from my present use, I believe the fully charged battery would last for at least 72 hours in emergency use. The radio is sturdy and well constructed and I look forward to using it for a long time.

Small But Mighty
I'm very impressed with this little radio. We live in a "dead zone" with poor cell and radio reception but this radio works,has great sound and the charge lasts a long time. Very glad I bought this!
