The vacuum seal is compromised in some packages
The packaging of some pieces have abrasion at the corners leading to air leaking in. I had to ask for replacement but still getting one piece in the replacement with the same problem. This product has high fat content so it is important that oxidation does not occur during storage.

Less crumbly than Datrex
I don't like the taste of these quite as much as Datrex (although they're fine), but I find Datrex crumbles so easily that I'm afraid I'll accidentally breathe in crumbs if I'm not putting it in a bowl and mixing it with water - or that I'll just lose bits of my Datrex bar because it falls apart. These S.O.S. bars aren't crumbly so I find them much more convenient. As well as keeping some for actual emergencies, I like to keep a couple in my bag so I have food handy if I'm out and about (I'd use granola bars, but I'm allergic to most of them).

Perfect emergency kit
Thank fully I haven’t had to use the emergency pack, however as the bars and water were expiring from the kit I got replacement ones and decided to try the old ones - they were actually delicious haha tastes like shortbread! I no longer fear having to eat survival food rations if I need to! Thank you
