They are made to be high in calories and low in protein so as to provide high energy yet require minimal water for digestion.

Very happy with shopping at 72hrs. 4 years ago we made our first purchase of food, water, and 20 wool blankets. This year we bought replacements for food and water that had expired in our kits from St John's Ambulance. Next year we will replace the 72 hrs food kits we bought in 2017!! Thank you very much
